Jones Co.nnect is a brand developed by the Jones County Chamber of Commerce to foster meaningful connections between local businesses, community leaders, and residents. The initiative is designed to promote collaboration, innovation, and growth within the region, providing members with unique networking opportunities, educational resources, and platforms for visibility.
Jones Co.nnect aims to bridge the gap between established businesses and new ventures, encouraging partnerships that enhance economic vitality and create a stronger, more unified community. The Chamber’s Leadership Forum, presented by First State Bank, is an annual event held each February. This premier gathering brings together influential leaders to share insights, strategies, and experiences that inspire growth and leadership excellence. Join us for a day of networking, learning, and empowerment designed to elevate your leadership skills and drive organizational success.
The Chamber’s Eggs & Issues, presented by Cadence Bank, is an annual event held at the end of the Mississippi state legislative session. This gathering provides a platform for business leaders and community members to discuss key legislative developments and their impact. Join us for insightful conversations, networking, and a hearty breakfast as we navigate the issues shaping our state’s future.
The Chamber’s Annual Membership Golf Tournament, held each April, is a highly anticipated event that brings together members for a day of networking, friendly competition, and the chance to enjoy the beautiful Laurel Country Club’s golf course. This premier tournament offers participants the chance to strengthen business relationships, enjoy a round of golf, and support the Chamber’s initiatives. The Chamber’s Women in Business, presented by Community Bank, is an annual event held each August. This inspiring gathering is dedicated to empowering and celebrating women leaders in our community. SPONSORSHIP REQUESTS
The Jones County Chamber of Commerce proudly supports sponsorship opportunities for member or community partner events that align with its mission to foster economic growth and community engagement. Sponsoring events allows the Chamber to invest directly in initiatives that benefit Jones County by promoting local businesses, enhancing community ties, and encouraging economic development.
The Chamber provides monetary sponsorships or in-kind support, contributing to events that generate positive regional exposure, attract visitors, or support charitable causes. In return, these sponsorships typically include recognition through logo placement, verbal acknowledgments, and other promotional opportunities. By sponsoring community events, the Chamber enhances its visibility, strengthens member relationships, and ensures that events align to create a thriving business environment.
Members in good standing and community stakeholders are encouraged to apply. Sponsorship decisions are based on alignment with the Chamber’s mission, approval by the board of directors, and available funds.
