For more than twenty-five years the Jones County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Authority of Jones County have encouraged businesses and individuals to become more involved in the future growth of the community through leadership development programs. Over 500+ graduates have participated in Leadership Jones County (LJC) since the first class in 1990. Developed to identify and prepare the community’s future leadership resources, LJC has provided Jones County with a network of current and emerging leaders who possess the skills and sense of commitment needed to improve our community. LJC has been a model for many other leadership programs throughout the state. Anyone interested in additional information or an application may contact the Community Development Foundation of Jones County at (601) 649-3031.
